Aimee Boyle wears Plum Coat, £25, Floral Blouse, £16, with Winter Bakerboy Hat, £8, all from George.
It’s that time of year again, West Coast Cooler Belfast FASHIONWEEK is back for another fashion filled schedule of catwalk shows and events and I am super excited to see some of my favourite brands back once to grace the super stylish WCCFW catwalk!

One such brand is George at Asda, way back when my blog was just in it’s infancy I had the opportunity to interview the design team for George and I can honestly say it was a privilege to meet them! Not only were they a dream to interview (and so friendly too!) but I couldn’t help but be inspired by their passion for their work. They have such a drive to create beautiful, affordable clothes that work for a multitude of occasions while focussing on quality at an accessible price point.

George is so good at developing trend led pieces that still feel like they are classics, you can instantly imagine how they will fit seamlessly into your existing wardrobe and this season I'm pleased to say is no exception.

Embellished Dress, £30, from George.
This Autumn/Winter brings forth a dynamic collection which features key trends including colour-blocking and 70s glam. They have embraced colour, texture and embellishment, creating pieces that can work together to create a total look, or as separates if you just want that little hint of colour or embellishment!

Maggie Jardine, Senior Manager George Retail, North Division, said:
“This year our George Autumn Winter Collection does not disappoint - we’ve got pops of colour and a nod to Studio 54 with our shearling and seventies-inspired garments, plus lots of winter woollies for those looking to wrap up!  We’re delighted to team up with Belfast FASHIONWEEK once again, and showcase our looks at the High Street Heaven evening on Friday 27th October in Saint Anne’s Cathedral.”

Hues of blue, mustard, red and plum are in abundance, from super stylish accessories to beautifully tailored suits and coats creating chic and stylish silhouettes. I am beyond excited to see the return of one of my favourite colours: plum and I’m seriously crushing over this entire look Aimee is wearing, I want it all!

Plum Coat, £25, Floral Blouse, £16, Burgundy Culottes, £14, Burgundy Boots, £19 with Winter Bakerboy Hat, £8, all from George.
Tailoring is a true wardrobe staple for me, a beautifully cut suit will take you anywhere from a business meeting to a night out with the girls and while this hot red version might be a little much for a conservative boardroom, it is sure to turn heads at even the most chic of cocktail parties!

Red Blazer, £20, Red Trousers, £14 with Red Sandals, £15, all from George.
Mustard is one of those colours which truly encapsulates Autumn for me, it’s golden hue is perfect to warm up a pale complexion like mine and who wouldn't love this super cosy jumper styled with a contrast pop of teal and navy! While a pair of chic leather style gloves always adds a touch of sophistication to any ensemble.

Mustard Jumper, £18, Navy Pleated Midi Skirt, £14, and Coloured PU Glove, £8, all from George.
This Spring/Summer saw fashionistas and bloggers go wild for sheer chiffon floral embroidered dresses and George have carried this trend through to Autumn/Winter in the form of this stylish maxi dress, perfect for that Christmas party or New Year’s celebrations!

Embellished Dress, £30 and Red Sandals, £15, both from George.
Texture also features heavily this season and whether you opt for a shearling jacket or suede style coat there is something for everyone to stay warm this Autumn/Winter! I especially love how cute this baby pink faux fur lined parka is, what can I say it would be THE perfect Apres-ski look! (Or in my case, my everyday go to warm coat!)

Parka, £35 with Lady Glove, £8, both from George.
I hope you enjoy checking out my top picks from the George AW17 collection and don't forget that tickets for this year’s West Coast Cooler Belfast FASHIONWEEK are still available!
